老师，这个我看出来是考平行结构的，但是这个用了分号是什么意思？

- 注意两个点： ①前边主体部分Tropical….ecosystem这句话已经说完了，后边全都是对important role的表现形式；这些表现形式有没有先后关系？包含关系？因果关系？没有！所以后边几个部分是平行的 ②解题关键点在分号上边，分号隔开了三个层面的内容，这三个层面的内容第三部分有and做链接。从这个意义上讲，由于aiding用的是ing结构，所以pollinating和helping必然要用 ing 形式，才能保证平行成立；只有B符合
- the producing of… 在GMAT里面是不可以的，producing的ing形式如果单独做动名词可以独立按照名词形式看待，但是the…of…明显中间是一个名词，producing有没有名词形式？有！是production，所以producing就不行了；
- 一旦把 they带出来，层次感就出来了，前面说的是一个层面的内容，后边开始讲其他的事儿了；they后面的事儿跟前边比，有没有“重打锣鼓另开张”？没有！还是一直在讲 important role的实质内容；
