Bonnie purchase a 5%, $10,000 bond at the price of 98,with two years remaining until maturity, calculate the approximate YTM on the bond.
A. 5.000%
B. 6.6060%
C. 5.0923%
D. 7.0408%
Hi, can you please tell me how to use financial calculator for this question?
I put N=2, PV=-9800, PMT=500, FV=10,000, I got the I/Y= 5.0923% which is answer C. But the correct answer is B.

同学，你好：

这道题问的是AYTM，一种用手计算YTM的方法。具体公式可以查书。但是这道题建议你不用管。

因为考试的时候只考YTM,用计算器算，你的计算器使用方法正确。不需担心！
